Adobe Illustrator (Desktop Publishing, artwork)
Producing vector graphics, setting up artwork, importing graphics, manipulation of layers, masks, preparation for professional printing.

Adobe PhotoShop (Image editing)
Scanning, converting images, importing, exporting, layers, effects and filters, plug-ins, using PhotoShop for the web.

Adobe Acrobat (Document distribution)
Creating PDF files, modifying, setting security, creating bookmarks, thumbnails and annotations, embedding fonts, capturing web sites.

Basic Windows tools (Windows Explorer, Control Panel, Backup, Scandisk, etc.)
File and disk management, system management Moving and renaming files, copying, deleting, Recycling Bin, optimising disk and system in general, troubleshooting, protecting data.

Standard Windows programs (Notepad, WordPad, Media Player, Paint, Sound Recorder, etc.)
Basic WP, simple graphics and multimedia work, quick and basic documents, simple graphics, recording sounds, incorporation into other documents.

Note: If you have any software not shown in the above list or other programs specific to your requirements, a basic grounding may be covered. Please contact us to discuss.
Operating systems covered include Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Windows 11 and earlier Windows editions (Vista, XP and even older). Other systems such as MacOS and Linux can be dealt with at a simple level.

Hardware & Software Set-up:

If you are having trouble with hardware installation (printers, scanners, graphics cards, memory, etc.), please get in touch. Most problems can be solved with a minimum of fuss. Also, software can be installed and set up correctly for optimum performance.

Prices:

Tuition - Private Individuals
One-to-one tuition is available to private individuals within a 20 mile radius @ £30 per hour. We come to you, so we will be using the equipment you are familiar with.

Tuition - Corporate/Business
One-to-one and small group tuition is available to businesses. We come to you. Prices for one-to-one tuition start from £40 per hour; groups from £60 per hour. Please contact us for details.

This is charged at £30 per hour.
